Staff and Clergy at St Boniface House raised a total of £89.60 through their weekly Lent Lunches this year.
The lunches were held on a different day each week to maximize the number of people who could take part. Staff took it in turns to provide home made soup, bread and cheese which was shared by between 10 – 15 people each week. On one occasion it was even warm enough to sit out in the beautiful courtyard at St Boniface House!
The Episcopal Vicars and Vicar General provided French Onion Soup for the final lunch – which was delicious!
This was a very simple way for our community to support our brothers and sisters in some of the poorest countries in the world.
